WOLF AND THE LAMB

In a forest a deer was grazing a long with her babies. Suddenly she saw a wolf coming to ward them. The deer thought of how to save her babies from the wolf and face danger. So she turned to wards the wolf and politely wished good morning.
The wolf replied good morning looking rather puzzled the deer always run away when the see him he asked. “Are you not frightened of me?” the deer replied” not at all because I know that you are brave, you do not attack anyone unless they quarrel with you.
 They wolf said, “you are absolutely right, I am a very peaceful animal”, and it went in to the forest, suddenly the wolf saw a lamb drinking water down the stream. He felt very happy he said to him self” oh I have got my dinner”.
Saddening he remembered the deer’s words.
He sears chef for an excuse to attack the lamb. He told the lamb. “Oh! Wicked one! Why are you making the water muddy which lambs drinking?”
The lamb politely replied, “sir I am drinking water muddy? Water never flows up”. For a moment the wolf did not find any answer.
He was determined to quarrel with the lamb. Finally the wolf said, “six months ago you had called me names”.
The lamb replied, “sorry sir, you are mistaken I was not even born six months ago.
The wolf realized that the lamb was right.
He when away the forest without causing any harm to the lamb.
While returning to forest the wolf, thought to him self, “my brother wolf never talked to its victim, but the deer tricked me to save her life”.
So, he hurriedly came back to the stream but he found that the lamp had already disappeared.
The wolf had to go without a meal.

THE OLD MAN AND THE DONKEY


One day a men and his son took their donkey to the market. They wanted to sell it they did not want to ride the donkey. Instead they. “walked a long road and pulled donkey behind them. When they walked through a village people began shouting at them.
“look at the foolish old man why is he walking ? why doesn’t he ride the donkeys. The old man did not like people shouting at him. He got up on the donkey back.
Soon after wards they passed through another village. Again some people began shouting at then. “Look at that cruel men ! why is he riding the donkey ? Why is not the child riding ?
The old man did not like people shouting at him. He got down form the donkey and told him soon ride.
Soon they come to another village this time the people shouted “look at that selfish boy riding the donkey his old father has to walk”
The old man said to his soon “I’ll get up on the donkey with you, we’ll both ride”, But in the next village the people shouted “ look at that cruel old man and his son they are both riding the poor donkey”
The old man did not know what to do. He thought for a few minutes. Then he said to his son “there is only one thing for us to do. We must carry the donkey.”
The old man and his son tried the donkey’s legs together. Then they put a long pole between its legs. They put the ands of the pole on their shoulders and the lifted the donkey.
 The soon come to a bridge. The donkey was very heavy. When they began to cross to bridges. The pole slipped of the boys shoulders. The donkey fell into the river.
“Now we have lost the donkey ? “the old man said sadly he turned round and walked back home with his son.
THE FOX AND THE CROW

One fine day, a sly fox saw a crow fly past. The crow settled on the branch of a tee. In her beak was a place of delicious cheese.
The fox was hungry and wanted the cheese for him self. He walked to the foot of the tree.
“dear mistress crow”, fox said in his kindest softest voice.
“How fine you  look to day! Your feathers are the brightest I have ever seen”
            The fox continued saying
“You are by far the most beautiful of birds I m sure your voice is the sweetest I have ever heard. Sing me jus one sweet song to prove it, and I will call you “ Queen of all the birds”
The happy crow opened her beak to caw.
CINDERELLA

Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl called Cinderella, she lived with her stepsister and stepmother. They were very bossy, she had to do all the house work.
One day an invitation to the ball came to the family. Her stepsister did not let her go, so Cinderella was very sad. The stepsister went to the ball without her.
Fortunately, the fairy good mother came and helped her to get to the ball. At the ball, Cinderella danced with the prince. The prince fell in love with her then he married her.
They lived happily ever after.
